We rolled into Phoenix, AZ last night – some 450 miles from El Paso. The weather here is incredible – warm (not hot) days with cool breezes and gentle evenings. It’s a great time to be in Phoenix!
We spent the day today with Andre Kole. His wife is in California visiting her family so this was the perfect chance to hang out, do some “magic” things, and relax. And that’s exactly what we did – had lunch at The Buttes, went back to the house and talked shop, caught a movie (Expelled by Ben Stein), walked around Arizona Mills Mall, ate dinner, and called it a night.
Tomorrow morning we head for Long Beach. Ethan will be flying in for the weekend and should arrive around 3pm. We are still about 6-7 hours away so we’re getting an early start. We are performing Friday night at the Carpenter Center for the Arts. It should be a great show – tickets have been selling very well! And we have several guests coming on Friday – Jim Steinmeyer & Frankie Glass, Andre and Kathy Kole, Lloyd and Margaretrose Robinson, and others.
