We got the proofs today for the new poster and several other things we’ve been working on. MORE than happy with the way things are coming together and I’m very excited about the new illusions in this year’s production.
Tomorrow, we load several tons of equipment into a local theatre so we can get some “on stage” rehearsal with the new props. We’ll also be setting the lighting and scenery. On Wednesday, the camera crew arrives so we can begin taping the new stuff and get it edited into the promo video. We’ll also be working on some new television commercials – all stuff that we’ve needed to get done.
It’s a long process and a difficult one too. In order to capture the “theatre” of an illusion, there are no short cuts you can take in preparing the stage. So Tuesday will be a long day of tech just to be ready for a long day of filming on Wednesday. BUT the payoff will be worth it!
Hopefully, I’ll be able to post a few pictures or get that Video Blog up and going here very soon (I haven’t forgotten about that)!!!!
