I’m back from Columbus, OH after spending one day at home last week. It was a good trip and I got to meet Jack Hanna (he’s the guy that handles all those animals)!
Nolan and I got home last night (Sunday) and all of us spent most of the day today working on the truck trying to get it ready to go out on tour. Tomorrow we’ll be working in the warehouse most of the day but there are still lots of things that have to be done in the office as well.
My computer was completely destroyed in an “incident” at LAX on 9/2/07 so I’ve been without one for more than a week. Cindy ordered me a replacement but Gateway sent the wrong model. Today I bought the new Toshiba but it uses Windows Vista – ugh! My friend Chris has been working on it most of the day trying to get things to work correctly while saving as much of my original data as possible from the old computer. It’s almost comical the way most of the programs don’t work in this new operating system. It would be funny if it wasn’t so important.
We have our first show of the season on Friday night at the Pascal Performing Arts Center in Arnold, MD. It should be great fun!
