We were up early this morning heading to the airport. We dropped off Cindy and Kylie at the Portland Airport (the truck got quite a bit of attention as we drove up to the terminal) and then David and I were on the road. The girls hung around the airport for a couple of hours before their flight took off for Atlanta. David and I tried to make time!
Our day was fairly uneventful. We had some concerns about climbing Cabbage Mountain but it’s very easy when going east. The grades are not nearly as steep and we had no problems. The view along I-84 East is amazing through Oregon – spectacular mountains and the interstate follows the Columbia River. It was beautiful.
We arrived in Twin Falls, ID (we were just here about 2 weeks ago) just as the girls landed in Lynchburg. Somehow that just doesn’t seem right….aaahhh, the joys of the road.
