All I can say is WOW – what an amazing audience last night in Hartsville! Â The place was packed, sold out. Â For the first time in the history of the theatre, they had to turn people away. Â A very diverse audience – from kids to senior citizens – filled the place and the energy was palpable!
Volunteers were unpredictable making for some memorable moments. Â And when the show ended, the audience was on their feet – applauding, cheering, whistling. Â It is what every performers hopes for and what one never takes for granted.
Afterward, in the lobby, I had the chance to meet many in the audience. Â I enjoy listening to their comments and hearing their favorite moments. Â It helps me become a better performer. Â And it also helps trigger the creativity of our team to constantly strive to make the show better.
It was a great night in Hartsville, SC.
