The weather has turned, the air is crisp and you can smell fall in the air. It’s very early on Saturday morning and I can see the rays of sunlight creating shadows on the trees outside my office window. There is a gentle wind causing the leaves to rustle loud enough for me to hear them or, perhaps, my imagination hears them because I can see their movement.
Fall is such a beautiful time of year but it also reminds me of how temporary things are in life – the cycle that all living things endure. Birth – growth – maturity – aging – death. The goal, I believe, is to make sure that as we age, we find our purpose. I’ve just finished reading an incredible little book by Louie Giglio entitled THE AIR I BREATHE. It was a great book filled with words of wisdom and insights into life. I highly recommend it.
