We had an excellent day today in Greensburg! I had the privilege of working with the students at the Clelian School for exceptional children. This was a wonderful opportunity for us to share the Healing of Magic program (www.MagicTherapy.com) with these very special individuals. It was a fantastic and heart-warming time with them and we watched many new “magicians” learn their first tricks!
The Pittsburgh Post Gazette sent a reporter and photographer to cover the “event.” The kids were quite the showmen for the camera and I think this will be a story that will touch your heart. Look for it to run sometime next week.
Afterwards, all of us got together and went to visit with some of the area magicians hosted by Dennis McGuiggan at his magic shop, Collector’s Magic Studio, in Greensburg. This is a REAL magic shop – fully stocked with some great magical effects for beginners and the more advanced performer. We had a great time exploring the store. We rarely have the chance to sit down and talk in a very casual way with other magicians. We truly enjoyed the hospitality of everyone who dropped by the shop. We made some new friends today and look forward to seeing them again down the road.
