There is no place like home. We arrived last night (Saturday) around 7:30pm after a very long day. About half way into our trip, the newly fixed trailer brakes decided to short out on me leaving me with little to no control over the stopping power. We had to change our route home so I could avoid as many of the steep descents in the mountains as possible. But we made it safely – and the temperatures were incredible! It was so warm.

This morning, the front is moving through and temperatures have dropped considerably – about 30 degrees! and the wind is really blowing strong on top of the mountain where we live. Looking out my office window, you can see the trees bending and hear, what leaves remain, making the sound of a rattle snake giving a warning! Regardless, it’s good to be home.
