Our day in town was really interesting. We had to pick up some things so we made a trip to the local Walmart Supercenter. While there, we met LOTS of people who had been to one of our performances. Their comments were so encouraging and we could still sense the excitment in their voices as they recounted their favorite illusions to us. It’s always nice to hear from people who have been to the show!
We did our last performance at the Heritage Center last night as a part of the Himmelsk Festival. It was another wonderful audience – that’s three in a row! We want to say a BIG thank you to everyone at the Heritage Center and especially to David Nyman (executive director) and Jason Clark and the technical crew. They made our three days here a great experience and one we will remember for quite some time. We’re already talking about brining our new production back to Cedar City.
After the performance, we loaded out and took off for the IHOP! Our server had been to the Friday night show. She was really excited and said she had a great time…and the service was wonderful, as was the food.
Today is Easter. The foundation of our faith is based on the event that is remembered and celebrated on this day – the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Christ-followers, this day holds great importance to all of us on the Spencer team. While we will not be in a church building, we will be worshiping in the way we know as we travel to Salt Lake City….and we’re back on the road this morning.
