Last week was the third consecutive year that I’ve conducted Magic Camp at the American Theatre in Hampton, VA.  In the morning we hold a Magic Camp One session for children who really haven’t been exposed to learning and performing tricks.  The afternoon class is for students who have attended the camp in the past and/or have a working knowledge of magic.

Chase and I taught students all week – different tricks for the afternoon class, much more complex requiring some practice, concentration, and commitment.  On Friday night, these 16 students pulled off a spectacular show for their families and friends.  They made me proud!

I’ve been home for a couple of days preparing to leave on Thursday to exhibit and present at the California Homeschool Conference in Sacramento.  This is a great opportunity to expose the Hocus Focus curriculum to a different group of educators…and I’m excited!
