We are heading out today for the quick drive to Newport News, VA (about 4 hours). Our show is Friday night at the beautiful Ferguson Center for the Arts on the campus of Christopher Newport University. This is the last performance of our Spring 2010 tour. This date was originally scheduled for February but those snow storms caused us to reschedule. The weather is MUCH nicer now!
We’re heading down early because most of Thursday will be spent doing some pre-show television and radio interviews. I’ll start the day with an appearance on the HAMPTON ROADS SHOW on Fox 43. The show airs live from 8am – 9am so we’ll be at the studio around 7:30am. I’ll be talking about the Friday performance as well as the upcoming release of the Hocus Focus project.
After my Fox appearance, we’ll drive over to WVEC for the second interview of the day, this one on 13 News at Noon. This should also be a fun interview. I’ll talk about the Friday night show, teach a couple of tricks, and perform some close-up magic for the host and viewers.
If you’re in the Hampton Roads area, I hope you’ll watch FOX 43 and WVEC 13…and come to the show on Friday night!
