Home for a day – and then we were back in the truck and on the way to Tennessee. We have three performances at the Dixie Carter Center for the Performing Arts in Huntingdon on Friday (7:30pm) and Saturday (2pm and 7:30pm). David flew up from Dallas to work with us on these performances and Nolan is driving in from Indiana. We hope to get some training done this weekend as well. Keith, our production manager, is going to be incorporating some of his “set up” ideas with the sound and intelligent lighting. And Nolan will be taking in more of the details of his responsibilities as the Technical Director. Lots of new things this weekend!
Huntingdon is a small town in West Tennessee but, as we drove around the square, it’s a very friendly and quaint community. We made a stop at the local Wendy’s and then over to Tractor Supply Store to pick up some work gloves for Nolan. And then, later this evening, we (David, Keith and I) hit the local Sonic for the national “free root beer float” promotion.
I’m hoping to have some great shows this weekend. And we hope to be drawing people from the entire area for those three performances here. I’ll keep you posted!
