It is so good to have Cindy back with me on the road! She and I stayed up late last night so she could start to get adjusted to the time zone change. She was up until midnight, quite a feat for her since that’s equivalent to 3AM at home!
This morning I was up early and did a radio interview with Steve Miner of KSUB 590AM in Cedar City, Utah. The interview will be broadcast during the two drive time slots on Tuesday to promote our three performances there next week. It was a fun interview and I hope it generates a crowd!
We had a great day visiting with Andre and Kathy Kole in Tempe. The time we spend with them goes so quickly and today was no exception. We had to leave the Phoenix area before the traffic jams hit at 3pm. If we didn’t get out before then, it would be at least 6:30pm before the traffic would let up. As much as we hated to cut the day short, we took off. Traffic wasn’t horrible, we made good time and pulled into Prescott around 6pm. One the way into town, we noticed an IN ‘N OUT BURGER place. For those of you who have never been in the west on or the west coast, this is the BEST burger in the world! We look forward to the chance we have to get a burger from here just like we look forward to Taco Cabana when we’re in Texas!
So, we’ve settled into the hotel…our home for the next couple of days and we’re heading out for dinner!
