The show tonight at the Renaissance Theatre was so much fun! The audience was awesome! It was almost a full house of enthusiastic people ready to have a good time. And we did have a good time!
We did the show that we’ll be taking to Asia next month – 80% new material! I was so pleased with the way the audience responded to all the new stuff…oohs and aahs from the crowd; applause in all the right places. We through in a new mind reading effect tonight that also generated quite a buzz in the crowd. The comments in the lobby afterwards were so encouraging.
Everyone did a spectacular job – Cindy, David and Kylie. It’s been a busy two days preparing for Asia and then a performance tonight. Everyone is exhausted but we are so far ahead in our readiness to go out of the country. We should be finished with all the inventory and manifest before Thanksgiving – at least, that’s the plan.
The crew (see picture above) at the Renaissance Theatre was great to work with. These guys are so professional and yet so much fun. It was a pleasure working with all of them and I hope we have the chance to do it again. There’s no way you can beat the hospitality of this place or these people!
It’s late – 1:17am – and we’re leaving early in the morning to head back to Virginia. It will be good to be home for Thanksgiving.
