I hate being sick on the road. Somewhere between the blizzard and cold weather of Colorado, the high pollen count of the desert and the warmth of Southern California, I picked up a terrible respiratory infection. I’m glad we have a couple of days off before our next show so I can get some rest.
I phoned back to my doctor in Virginia and he called in a prescription to a local CVS drug store. Turns out they don’t have the medication he prescribed in California so the pharmacist decided to “put it together” for me using over the counter products. I’ve started on some major medications so I hope to feel better before the next show in Arroyo Grande on Thursday.
Wednesday morning we are heading up to Ventura to meet with Willie Kennedy. He is an engineer and illusion builder who has constructed props for some of the greatest magicians in the world. He’s a very talented individual who is also nice, easy-going, and down-to-earth. We’re honored to be included in his list of clients. Jim is going to meet us there to go over some new ideas for the show. We’re really excited!
