We finished up two performances in Beaufort, SC this weekend. We had a really great time in this historical, picturesque town. The audiences were great fun and some of the volunteers were very enthusiastic! A big hats off to the TD at the BPAC (Dewey) for pulling things together for us. This is a new venue and Dewey was hired only a few days before our first show. He did a great job! And the chocolate store just down the street from the Theatre is excellent!

David and Cindy did an outstanding job making the show work in a theatre that was a little challenging for our production. All in all, it turned out very well and the after-show comments were very positive.

We left SC for Texas on Sunday morning. Unfortunately, I got some sort of stomache virus thingy along the way and David ended up driving most of the trip while I slept in the back. There’s nothing worse than traveling when nothing you eat is staying down!

We are in Weatherford, TX tonight and will finish the trip to San Angelo in the morning. We’re looking forward to the show there on Thursday night. Then the schedule gets kind of crazy with an evening show Saturday at the Palace Theatre in Grapevine, TX and a matinee in Mt. Pleasant, TX the next day. That will mean setting up and doing the show; tearing it down and packing it up; then driving for a few hours to the next city so we can be there for that 7am load in!
