I was up very early this morning – 4:15am – to get ready for all the television appearances that the people over at the Weidner Center had arranged for today. These guys are really on top of things! These appearances were great exposure the day before the performance.
The coverage started early when I picked up the local newspaper (Green Bay Press Gazette) and saw a front page bump for the show and a nice feature in the ENTERTAINMENT GUIDE.
Stephanie (from the Weidner) and I arrived at at WFRV CBS 5 around 5:30am. We were met and taken right to the studio where I met the hosts (Wendy and Paul). I did quick segment around 5:45am and then we were off to WLUK FOX 11 for GOOD DAY WISCONSIN. The host (Angela) and I did three segments and a couple of bumps. They already have it online HERE. I performed a couple of smaller tricks and then taught Angela how to perform the Jumping Rubber Band Trick.
The day is not quite over yet. I still have a couple of newspaper interviews early this afternoon for our shows in Bothell/Seatle, WA (April 19) and Blackfoot, ID (April 26). Then, we rest!
