If you’re watching the news anywhere this morning, you’re seeing the devastation of central Florida on your television…and hearing about the record-breaking artic blast that is descending on the upper Midwest. We were in Florida just a few days ago enjoying the beautiful weather, leaving just before the storms. We are in Michigan now, waiting for the cold to hit. The National Weather Service has released “snow and blowing snow” warnings for our area today as this cold air moves across the lake picking up moisture. It’s supposed to snow all day today with some heavier bands of snow…and it will continue through tomorrow. We’re hoping it doesn’t impact the sold out audience for tomorrow night’s show. This is a fundraising event for Rockford and we really want them to do well.
Pray for all the people in Florida today…we’re leaving the hotel so I’ll write more later.
