So, I finished up my CDL exam yesterday testing on “Combination Vehicles” and passed with flying colors – didn’t miss a single question! Now, I’ve got my Class A CDL and can drive across America (or at least Iowa) without any problems.

Interestly enough, while at the DMV taking this exam, I had the chance to talk with a Virginia Motor Carrier Enforcement Officer who told me that I wasn’t required to have ANY of the things that Iowa cited me for – no log book, no CDL, no health card, etc. He said that the officers in Iowa must have a bit more time on their hands and his advice – “Just don’t go back to Iowa.” Now, that’s not going to happen because we enjoy performing in Iowa and have dates there already scheduled for October 2006.

The bottom line is I’m ready now….and today is my mom’s birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM – I LOVE YOU!
