We are about to begin my busiest two works of the fall – but it’s not all about shows, mostly the travel. We are leaving today for Woonsocket, RI for a performance there on Saturday at the Stadium Theatre. It’s about 600 miles (11 hours) from where I live. When the show is over on Saturday, we have to drive all the way back home in a single day so that I can grab my stuff and head to Abingdon (about 3 hours away) early on Monday morning to work on a very exciting DVD project for Campus Crusades for Christ. We’ll be taping Monday through Wednesday. As soon as we’ve completed taping on Wednesday morning, I’ll be driving home again (that same 3 hours) to jump back into the truck and head to Franklin, PA (about 8 hours) for performances at the Barrows Civic Theatre. Lots of driving in the next two weeks!

It’s not always this crazy – things just got a little out of hand with the travel. It’s early on Thursday morning and I’m looking out my office window. There is a slight breeze, temperatures have dropped a bit, but the leaves are golden yellow on the maples. It’s spectacular in the mountains right now! I’m sure the drive to Rhode Island today will be beautiful!
